Gallery of images taken by RAG members

Below are just a few of the images from RAG’s Astrophotography Special Interest Group.

The images in this gallery reflect a wide range of experience, equipment and processing approaches. Some are from members who have been practising astrophotography for many years, while others are from those who are still developing their skills. We include this variety deliberately, to show that everyone starts somewhere and that the group welcomes photographers at every stage of their journey.

There will be no Astrophotography Group meeting in August. Instead, members were invited to process two sets of image data provided by Rob Leonard. The images below show how differently each member interpreted and processed the same data. There is no single right or wrong approach; the final result reflects each individual’s personal choices.
